Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
1. Purpose
Saints & Singles is a faith-centered dating community for single adults seeking serious, marriage-minded relationships. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") explains what is and is not allowed on our website, mobile application, APIs and related services (the "Service"). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Safety & Moderation page. By using the Service you agree to follow this AUP.
2. Who May Use the Service
The Service is strictly for adults aged 18 or older (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater). You must provide truthful and accurate information, hold only one account, and keep your credentials secure. Accounts found to belong to minors are deleted and, where required by law, reported.
3. What Is Not Allowed
You may not use the Service to do, share, or encourage any of the following.
Sexual content and services
- Create, upload or send sexually explicit content or nudity, including in profile photos, messages, voice notes or verification selfies.
- Send unsolicited sexual messages or images, or sexually harass any member.
- Offer, request, advertise or promote prostitution, escort services, sex trafficking or any commercial sexual service.
Harassment and harm
- Harass, threaten, stalk, bully, intimidate or defame any person, online or offline.
- Post content that is hateful, discriminatory, obscene, or that glorifies violence or self-harm.
- Dox, reveal or attempt to identify another member's private information, or use the Service to locate or surveil any person.
Fraud, scams and financial solicitation
- Ask members for money, gifts, loans, investments or financial information.
- Run romance scams, catfishing or any other fraud.
- Move conversations off-platform for the purpose of scams, or share phone numbers or other contact details for that purpose.
Impersonation and deception
- Impersonate any person or entity, or create fake or deceptive profiles.
- Misrepresent your identity, age, marital status, location or faith affiliation.
- Create a new account after being banned or removed.
Child safety
- Post, share or facilitate any content involving minors in a sexual or exploitative way. We have zero tolerance for this and report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and applicable authorities.
Illegal activity
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
Commercial misuse and platform abuse
- Advertise, recruit, promote or solicit for any business, product or service without our written consent.
- Scrape, crawl, data-mine or harvest member data, or use bots, scripts or other automation.
- Probe, scan or test the Service's security, upload malware, or interfere with its operation.
- Bypass or attempt to bypass moderation, verification, blocks, bans, rate limits or other technical restrictions.
- Collect or republish another member's content or private messages outside the Service without their consent.
4. Community Expectations
Saints & Singles welcomes Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and other Christian singles. We ask every member to engage honestly, respectfully and in good faith, with dignity for each member's boundaries and beliefs. Content or conduct inconsistent with these community values may be removed even if it is not listed above.
5. How We Enforce This Policy
- Every profile photo is reviewed by our moderation team before a profile becomes visible in Discover.
- Profile-text screening flags off-platform contact patterns, and automated tooling assists photo review where enabled — a person makes the final call.
- Members can report profiles and messages. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team and escalated when they exceed their review window.
- Text messages are end-to-end encrypted; photo and voice attachments are moderated on our servers. Reported message excerpts and on-device safety flags may be reviewed by moderators where required for safety, abuse investigation, legal compliance or enforcement of our policies.
- Violations may result in content removal, feature restrictions, warnings, suspension or permanent ban, and may be reported to law enforcement where appropriate.
See our Safety & Moderation page for full details.
6. Reporting a Violation
Use the in-app report tools on any profile or message. You can also block or ignore any member at any time. To contact us directly about a violation, email navophoto@protonmail.com.
7. Appeals
If your account is suspended or banned, you may appeal through the in-Service appeal process. Appeals are reviewed by an administrator who was not involved in the original decision.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. For material changes we will provide notice through the Service or by email and update the "Last updated" date above.
